About

Eric Ordorica is a photographic artist. He graduated in 2020 at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa earning a BFA with a focus in Digital Imaging.  Using digital imaging and photography from various formats such as digital capture to the use of films are manipulated through a combination of traditional, alternative darkroom processes and digital rendering to produce his images on archival inkjet prints, C-prints, alternative substrates and silver gelatin.  

He spends time photographing people and places such as his father on a farm with his plants or his mother in the kitchen with her cooking.  He also photographs other people and places that are foreign and familiar to understand them more deeply. For Eric, taking time out and putting it into people and places has proven to be a caring act towards those subjects and himself.
